Hamaari Beti Raaj Karegi is an Indian television drama series that airs on Sahara One channel. The series is premiered on December 20, 2010 and replaced Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, the logest running television series on Sahara One. The series starrs known Bollywood actress Saira Banu in an important role. The show was about to end but it was so popular they decided to give it a second chance.

Hailing from a small village, Muthuraj aspires to be a great actor someday. He goes to the city to pursue his dreams and gets the role of a junior artist. His diligence gets him into the good books of an assistant director who casts him as lead in his new film. But the lead actress leaves the project when she discovers this. Or is this the real reason? Raaj the Showman finds out.

A routine story, the tale begins with the life of Muthuraj (puneet) whose only aim in life is to become a great actor. With this, he comes out of his village and goes to the city in search of good offers. Soon, he finds the offer of a junior artist and then, one of the associate directors realizes his potential and decides to cast him as the hero. However, trouble arises when the leading lady Parvathi (Priyanka Kothari) walks out of the project. Realizing that his career would be at stake, Muthuraj decides to convince Parvathy and she has her own set of problems with her relatives who are linked to the underworld. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Sudha Verma wants to be the ideal daughter for her dad, and mom. Unfortunately, her mom passes away, and her dad re-marries, this time to Kamla, who is self-serving and not at all interested to see Sudha marry and settle down. Sudha meets with Dr. Rajesh Anand, and both fall in love. All approve of the marriage, until Rajesh sees the invitation card for Sudha's marriage, and realizes that his marriage has been arranged with Sharda, and that Sudha is to marry Rakesh. Rajesh attempts to straighten this out, but idealistic Sudha does not agree as she does not want to embarass her dad. Unfortunately, Sudha marriage does not take place, as the dowry money has been stolen. Rajesh returns and hopes to marry Sudha, but finds that Sudha and her dad are missing, and are untraceable, and then returns home to find a look-alike of Sudha, who calls herself Asha, but denies ever being or knowing anyone named Sudha Verma.

Yogiraj believes himself to be the most compassionate and caring of all individuals and is displeased when Jatashankar informs him that Ayodhya's Dharamdas is better than he can ever be. The latter then sets about to test Dharamdas and ensure if he is better than Yogiraj. He comes to know that he s and his wife, Meera, are childless, and convinces the latter to sacrifice a baby goat so that she can bear a child but Dharamdas is able to foil this and severely admonishes Meera. Then the couple adopt a grown orphan, Jamuna, and let her live with them. With Yogiraj's help Meera is able to conceive and soon gives birth to a baby boy who they name Prabhudas. Then her world will be changed drastically when folks in the community inform her that Dharamdas is having an affair with Kalavati, a courtesan. Unable to bear the shock, she falls down, is unable to regain her senses and is believed to be dead.

Reet obeys her father's every wish, including his last wish, for which the family disown her and she has to fend for herself. Will she survive this tough fight against her own?
